Sunday to Sunday rental during July/August. Cadillac Views is a meticulously maintained and well-equipped home located in a quiet and peaceful setting on the shores of Union River Bay. Roomy and comfortable with hardwood floors throughout, the main floor includes a living room and formal dining room (with seating for 6) as well as an open family room/den with comfortable furniture, satellite TV and two sliding glass doors leading out onto the deck where you'll find comfortable furniture for relaxing and enjoying the view. The well-equipped kitchen just off of the family room and has granite counters and an island with seating for four. There is also a study tucked away on the main floor with a desk and wireless printer. There is a full-sized washer and dryer in the garage. All three bedrooms are on the second floor along with the second full bath (shower). Enjoy breathtaking views from both the master bedroom and one of the two other lovely bedrooms, both with queen beds. There are two more TVs as well. A finished basement includes a sofa, TV, additional fridge, game table and propane "wood" stove. Stepping outside you will find a wooden bench swing, hammock and 6-person hot tub. A backup generator provides backup power. Newbury Neck is on a quiet road that's good for walking and riding bikes. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Blue Hill and Ellsworth, it's a well-situated home base for day trips to Acadia National Park (about 34 miles away) and other points Downeast. The expansive gravel beach and protected bay make it an ideal spot for launching kayaks for all levels of experience. Guests return again and again to this house and often say that the photos do not do it justice. It is truly a home away from home for your family getaway. This property rents Sunday to Sunday from June 30th - October 20th. No pets please!
