Downtown Westerly & Mystic which both have a wide variety of high-quality restaurants, live entertainment, and shops. Foxwoods, one of America's biggest casinos, is about 30 minutes away and has endless options. Other local amusements include Bay View Park which offers go karts, mini golf, bumper boats, etc. and Purple Ape which offers jet ski/kayak/paddle board rentals. The Misquamicut weekly schedule is as follows, Monday: Tunes on the Dunes, live music on the beach. Tuesday: Drive In Movies on the Beach. Wednesday: Blues on the Beach, live music on the beach.
