Downtown Westerly & Mystic offer a wide variety of high-quality restaurants, live entertainment, and shops. Foxwoods, one of America's biggest casinos, is about 30 minutes away with endless options. Other local amusements include Purple Ape, offering jet ski/kayak/paddle board rentals. The Misquamicut area hosts a vibrant weekly schedule: Monday features Tunes on the Dunes with live music from July to August. Tuesday offers Drive-In Movies on the Beach throughout July and August (schedule available on the home page). Wednesdays include Blues on the Beach with live music from early July to mid-August.
