Anchors Away is located in the Misquamicut Fire District, which can be found on a peaceful side street in the middle of the bustling seaside town. The property has an ideal layout, consisting of a kitchen and living room that share an open concept and are air-conditioned. Additionally, the house has huge windows that let in a lot of natural light, making it an ideal place to rest after a day at the beach. In addition, there is a screened-in porch located at the house's rear that may be used for a variety of activities, including sunbathing, reading, and dining all meals. The backyard is rather spacious, so there is plenty of opportunity for various sports and activities to be played there. In addition, there is a little terrace that leads out the rear of the home. Cable TV, streaming services, and wifi are all included, as well as a coffee maker, cable, dishwasher, washer/dryer, ceiling fan(s), and parking for three automobiles.

Local attractions include, The Historic Village of Watch Hill, which is known for having one of the oldest operating carousels in the country, enriched with boutiques & shops, and breathtaking sunsets over the bay. Downtown Westerly & Mystic which both have a wide variety of high-quality restaurants, live entertainment, and shops. Foxwoods, one of America’s biggest casinos is about 30 minutes away which has endless options. Other local amusements include Bay View Park which offers go karts, mini golf, bumper boats, etc. and Purple Ape which offers jet ski/kayak/paddle board rentals. The Misquamicut weekly schedule is as follows, Monday: Tunes on the Dunes, live music every Monday from 7/11-8/15. Tuesday: Drive In Movies on the Beach, every Tuesday in July & August (schedule can be found on home page. Wednesday: Blues on the Beach, live music on the beach Wednesdays from 7/6 to 8/17.
